BBC comedy festival

It was a real treat to travel to Belfast recently for this year’s BBC Comedy Festival.

The two day event was made up of talks, networking events and some good solid fun.

A real highlight for me was listening to a conversation with Lisa McGee as she discussed the making of Derry Girls and the future of comedy for both herself and comedy writers at all stages of their careers.
