BABY BOX

Baby Box returned to the York Theatre Royal in October 2019 after a phenomenal run at The Kings Head in May 2018.

★★★★ - ‘funny, heartrending, thought provoking, troubling. Bravo!’ - Playhouse Pickings

A new play about sisterly love and what it means to ‘become a woman’.

It’s 2005. Christmas. Chloe is thirteen and has awoken to find puberty has come knocking in the night for the first time. Not exactly the bloody Christmas present she asked for. But at least her older sister Jamie is there to help her unwrap all the additional baggage Santa dropped off on his way through.

It’s 2010. Currently living far apart but still as close as ever, Jamie’s worried about Chlo. In her own experience, throwing up from pain straight after sex is (thankfully) pretty damn unusual. So why does her beloved younger sister breezily chat about it like it’s perfectly normal?

Baby Box is a heartwarming and comic exploration of the wonderfully dysfunctional relationship between siblings.

★★★★ -‘Baby Box is hilarious, touching and will make you appreciate the highs and lows of womanhood’ - Love London Love Culture

SHOULDER - THE SIGNIFICANT OTHER FESTIVAL

10 writers, 10 scenes, 1 play.

The Significant Other Festival played at The Vaults in 2018

Shoulder- the closer for the evening told the story of three friends hiding in the back room of the packing factory where their parents work.
It’s the 80s, Thatcher is running the show and Section 28 is very much in the mind of Jesse as he debates how best to let his father in.

★★★★ - Breaking The Fourth Wall
